Most of the photographs contained within this series feature Bijou in some state of repose on rich wine-colored furniture. Accent pillows embellished with swirls of gold add a splash of contrasting color to the vibrant backdrop. The velvety upholstery covering the furniture and the ornate patterns of several of the pillows offer texture to the composition of many of the pictures.
Bijou is pictured with her form spread upon a richly hued pallet of pillows and velvet. The sweet-faced teen is smiling and inviting viewers to survey the exquisite angles and contours of her youthful physique. Bijou’s lovely smile offers a glimpse of her brilliant white teeth. Her thighs are opened to reveal the intimate area between her tender thighs. An ambiance of temptation is created with the selection of this picture as the introductory photograph for “Nubilia.”
Mark constructs an artistic composition with the use of floral arrangements and direct natural lighting in the next highlighted photo. Colorful pastel flowers arranged in an elegant golden bowl are at the forefront of this picture. A gilded rose sculpture is set alongside the floral arrangement. Several square windows allow lighting to stream into the room behind Bijou. The model’s incredibly long ebony hair flows over her shoulders and covers her naked flesh. The lotus of attention is on the wistful countenance of Bijou. The teen’s pretty features are expressive and represent a large part of her innate modeling talents.
The third photo showcased is reminiscent of a glamorous centerfold photograph found in the world’s finest gentlemen’s magazines. Soft elegance dominates the viewing experience of this picture. Bijou’s expression is relaxed yet is interspersed with a definite sense of sensuality. Her slender body is lithe and sinewy. The gentle curves of her buttocks are poetic in a physical concrete way. A sense of intimacy is generated in the way that the model’s body is positioned. The unspoken innuendo that she is awaiting a lover to join her is easy to glean from this picture.
The final picture reviewed from “Nubilia” presents an image of Bijou almost in silhouette. Shadows settle on the teen’s flesh. Bijou’s full bosom, tapered waist and curvaceous hips are vividly defined by Mark’s genius use of lighting. The model’s blossoming femininity is clearly captured in this photograph.
